H. Murphy & Co. (E) Ltd. are one of the leading Cash & Carry's in the South East with three branches, Enniscorthy, Arklow and New Ross. The business was first set up in September 1929 in Enniscorthy and was founded by Herbert Murphy and Jimmy Griffin.

In the beginning, it was a traditional tea blending and wholesale groceries until the early 60’s, when H. Murphy & Co. was turned into one of the first Cash and Carry’s in the South East. Successfully expanding to provide their excellent service levels to the Wicklow and New Ross areas in the 60’s and 90’s respectively.
